SVG and RAX (Rendering Arbitrary XML)

Following up on some of the XUL stuff I just posted on, I came across 
the new SVG spec that is in development.  Clearly, they are thinking 
along the same lines that Matthew proposed a while back -- use SVG to 
render UIs directly, and use SVG's scripting support to enable the 
behaviors.  Its now directly described in the SVG spec, albeit immature:
